Refund Policy

At Global South Varsity, we are committed to ensuring fairness, transparency, and ethical practices in all our dealings, including refund requests.

This refund policy outlines the process and conditions under which students may request a refund for tuition fees and other related payments.

  1. General Principles
  • Refunds are issued only in cases where students meet the eligibility criteria outlined in this policy.
  • All refund requests will be processed with integrity, fairness, and within the stipulated timeframes.
  1. Eligibility for Refund

Students may request a refund in the following circumstances:

  • Course Cancellation: If Global South Varsity cancels a course or program.
  • Medical or Extenuating Circumstances: In the event of severe illness or other significant personal circumstances, a refund may be granted upon the presentation of appropriate documentation.
  • Errors in Payment: If an overpayment or incorrect payment is made, the excess amount will be refunded.
  1. Refund Timeline and Amounts

Following is based on the due approvals obtained by enrolled learners

  • Withdrawal Before Classes Begin: A full refund (100%) of tuition fees will be issued, minus any non-refundable administrative or application fees.
  • Withdrawal After Classes begin: No refund will be granted, except in extreme situations of medical or extenuating circumstances as evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
  • Non-Refundable Fees: Registration, lab, and administrative fees are non-refundable  unless specified otherwise.
  1. Process for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to the contact@globalsouthvarsity.org with supporting documentation (e.g., medical certificates) where applicable. Refund requests will be processed within 30 days of receiving the written request and all necessary documentation. Refunds will be issued through the same method of payment initially used, unless otherwise agreed upon by the university and the student.

  1. Appeals Process

Students who wish to appeal a refund decision may submit an appeal to contact@globalsouthvarsity.org within 3 days of receiving the refund decision. Appeals will be reviewed within 7 days, and the student will be informed of the final decision.

  • The university is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards. All refund decisions will be made with integrity and fairness, taking into account the well-being of the student and the university.
  • The university reserves the right to review and amend this policy in line with evolving best practices.
