Biography

Dr. K.B. Joshi obtained his Ph.D. in 2008 from the Indian Institute of Technology Kanpur (IIT-K). Dr. Joshi was honored with the Eli-Lilly Asia Outstanding Thesis Award in 2009 for his exceptional research contributions.

Following his doctoral studies, Dr. Joshi pursued an international research fellowship as an Alexander von Humboldt (AvH) Research Fellow at Goethe University Frankfurt am Main, Germany, from March 2009 to 2011, under the guidance of Prof. Alexander Heckel. He continued as a senior postdoctoral fellow at the Buchmann Institute for Molecular and Life Sciences within the same group until December 2012.

Since 2013, he has been an independent researcher in the Department of Chemistry at Dr. Harisingh Gour Vishwavidyalaya, a Central University in Sagar (M.P.). His research interests include organic synthesis, solid and solution-phase synthesis of modified/unmodified peptides and nucleic acid conjugates, and aptamers. His work emphasizes the application of nanotechnology in Chemical Biology and Medicinal Chemistry, particularly in synthesizing bioinspired peptides and nucleic acid-based drug designs.

His prolific publication record includes nearly 100 papers in prestigious journals.
